True, he's not an elected official, and I confirm that he has every right to his opinions and to express them. I agree with you that attraction to the same sex is not a choice. I was pointing out only that he is far from alone in his interpretation of Paul's commentary as recorded in the New Testament. The attitude (at least as presented in the interview) seems to be the problem. When Pope Francis was asked to describe himself by an interviewer, he humbly said, "I am a sinner." This points the finger at none but himself. When Mr. Robertson was asked about sin, he introduced a discussion on homosexuality first and foremost: "...start with homosexuality and morph out from there." While I credit him with later mentioning some of his own imperfections, his first instinct was pointing the finger elsewhere. It is the humility shown by the Pope that so many find attractive, no matter if they are Catholic, or Muslim, or atheist. As the saying goes consider the source . He isn't a leader or politician (representing both gays or straights) or making policy. Most that watch his show probably have a similar viewpoint. Example I don't watch the show personally. I'm not sit how I feel about hate the sin love the sinner. Mostly because I know for fact that gay isn't a sexual act or lifestyle it's biological orientation. Not sure that he wants us to be anything but our born selves. But since Robertson to understand such complexity or maybe I'm letting him off easy. I simply do not see any relevance to his opinions. <br />Christyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04275550666646043822noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6242677320766808186.post-71561153290203195142013-12-22T12:35:27.447-05:002013-12-22T12:35:27.447-05:00It's the thought (or lack of it) that counts. ...It's the thought (or lack of it) that counts.
